Oregon Coast

In 2014 I embarked on a different kind of Art Ministry trip...a kind of convergence trip. I integrated my own solo Traveling Art Ministry with some of the Art Ministers of the VineArts Ministry from Vineyard Boise Church and created a sort of hybrid trip.

The connection was with an Art Minister who headed up an Art Ministry called Coastal Creatives at The Coastal Vineyard Church in Lincoln City, Oregon. She had interned with the VineArts Ministry a few years prior before launching her own Art Ministry in Oregon. She asked if I would be willing to do one of my Art Ministry Travels to come alongside her and her group. Since there was already a connection with VineArts for her, this was a great opportunity for me to collaborate with some of the VineArts Art Ministers and invite them along on my trip.

We did a road trip from Idaho to the Oregon Coast and converged on The Coastal Creatives, joining them for some creative collaboration. We conversed and connected together around beach campfires, we entered a city-wide sand castle making contest, we shared ideas and stories over meals, and I painted live during their church service.

For me, it was a unique experience of leading a team of leaders leading leaders.
