In 2013 I joined a team of VineArts Art Ministers from Vineyard Boise in Boise, Idaho to road trip to Anaheim, California. We were asked to be a part of the National Vineyard USA Conference being held at the Anaheim Vineyard Church by painting live during all the main worship sessions for the conference.
The 5 of us who journeyed together (along with another artist who could not travel with us) prepped and planned our art making months in advance. Each night of the conference we would work on individual paintings that would then be placed together on the final night to create a large Celtic Cross. In addition, some of us would be a part of a personal prayer art ministry for those attending and our Team Leader would sit on panels about creativity within the church for a couple of the breakout workshops.
During the conference we were able to connect with many people regarding how the art was speaking to them. It was at this conference that I initially met my connection with Ke Aha Vineyard church from Kahului, Maui Hawaii.
